Goodmorning Bandmembers.

This is a reminder that there would be no more band practices during the June Holidays dued to the Influenza, band practice will NOT resume when schoool reopens till further announcements.
Please note that modular CCA will still be on as per usual (every thursday). Please check the band blog for more updates.

Practise good personal hygiene and be socially responsible by:

▪ Washing your hands regularly and thoroughly with soap and water, especially before touching your eyes, nose or mouth.
▪ Turning quickly away from anyone near you if you are about to cough or sneeze, and do not cough or sneeze at him.
▪ Covering your nose and mouth with a tissue when coughing or sneezing. Dispose of the tissue properly in the dust bin after use.
▪ Avoiding crowded places if you are unwell and wear a surgical mask to cover your nose and mouth.
▪ Staying home from work or school when you are sick.
▪ Using a serving spoon when sharing food at meal times.
▪ Seeing your family doctor if you are feeling unwell.

Good afternoon.

All main band members please be informed that there will be a test on concert E flat Major Scale (scale, arepeggios & intervals) , next practice, which is on Tuesday (23rd June). You are expected to be able to play the scale with normal tonguing, mixed tonguing and slurs. You will be tested on any one of them.

For those who have failed the Concert B flat Major test, you will be tested again.
(Names will be up on the Notice Board if you fail the tests.)

Good Evening Band Members,

There will be practice for ALL MEMBERS this Thursday and Friday, from 9am to 1pm. Attendance is compulsory and latecomers will be dealt with.

For those who have travelled to the the countries that are affected by H1N1 (Japan, US, Philipphines, Australia, Thailand etc.) please refrain from attentding the June Holiday practices. Those who have visited H1N1 affected countries will join band practice when school reopens.

but it is about a king 50s birthday..

and they are fighting about her etc...

too much shouting..
but it is a funny show..
as u heard a lot of laugher..

How was band camp?
Please note that the next band practice will be on the 18th of June (thursday). Please remember to be punctual. Band practice starts at 9am sharp and ends at 1pm , Late comers will be dealt with. Please refer to the notice board for the upcoming band practice yeah? (: See you guys on the 18th (: May i ask , how many of you wants to buy the SYF photo, if you all are interested then orders will be placed but it is not that nice as compared to other schools. so it's the band's choice (:

If it's really necessary i'll just change it back to the previous skin alright? :) Oh ya, and no one realised that that this blog's already around one year and two months (plus plus) old? :(

Hey Band!

Tomorrow is Band Camp! Have you guys packed your bags? Make sure you have all your items packed, remember your personal medication, if you have. Please make sure you report outside the band room tomorrow by 8.30am sharp. Latecomers will be dealt with.

Most importantly, mix around with all of your bandmates. We are one family, ya! Remember that, and Enjoy yourself to the fullest! Make sure you guys be serious whenever you have to.
